Music Together®: Kazoo
Nurturing young hearts through harmony and play with a fun-filled, research-based summer session.
Description
Turn your Monday afternoons into a musical celebration at the Black Mountain Center for the Arts with the Music Together® Kazoo Collection! Running Mondays from 3:30 to 4:15 PM (June 22nd – July 20th), this 5-week summer session invites babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their grownups into a playful environment where you'll explore the classic "Me, You, and We," gallop along to favorite tunes, and dramatize the nursery rhyme "Old King Cole." Families will spend 45 minutes each week singing, dancing, and experimenting with instruments, helping children achieve basic music competencies like singing in tune and keeping a steady beat while fostering essential cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Tuition is $135 per child (with a $50 sibling discount, and babies under 9 months attending for free), which covers all weekly classes as well as take-home materials to keep the music going all week long. You’ll receive a beautifully illustrated family songbook, an optional CD, and a digital access code to stream the Kazoo Collection tracks through the Music Together app, giving you all the tools you need to support your child’s development and build lasting bonds within the Black Mountain community.
