Shelly Frome is a member of Mystery Writers of America, a professor of dramatic arts emeritus at the University of Connecticut, a former professional actor and, all told, has written over twenty-five plays in addition to his articles and novels. His fiction includes Twilight of the Drifter, Lilac Moon, the Hollywood crime caper Tinseltown Riff, Murder Run, and the recently released The Secluded Village Murders and Moon Games.

This is the Babies' fourth time performing at the BMCA, and the last two shows have sold out with a line out the door! Tickets are $12 each in advance, and $15 if there are any left at the door. Seating is general admission and first come first served. Doors open at 7:00pm.

7:30pm
Tickets $15

Up Jumped Three is proud to present their newest collection of original material, showcasing a fresh new energy for the new decade. Comprised of compositions that are direct, honest, and streamlined, the feel is reminiscent of a classic 'blowing session' record from the 60s and 70s... but with a decidedly modern composition and harmonic exploration aesthetic, and a fresh production style & quality of sound. Shades of artists like Jim Hall, Sonny Rollins, Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Dave Holland, and Charlie Haden are all present… but the sound is uniquely Up Jumped Three.
