Directors
The Board of Directors of the Black Mountain Center for the Arts is made up of a group of passionate and knowledgeable volunteers, who are dedicated to bringing the arts to our community. Board members are elected to three-year terms, attend monthly meetings, assist with fundraising and events, and offer their professional expertise in support of the Center.

Serving on the Board
Board members are critical sources of guidance and support for the Center. When selecting new Board members, we seek a balance of skills, interests, and experiences to ensure that the Center serves our community and vision of bringing art to the people and people to the arts. Along with ensuring the financial health and vitality of our
organization, Board members also support the Center with their time, effort, and resources.
BMCA Board Members:

attend monthly board meetings, providing input and guidance for the Center Executive Director

actively participate on Board committees and projects

serve as an ambassador for the Center in the community

support the Center by purchasing annual memberships

serve as volunteers for various activities that support Center programming and fundraising efforts

encourage community involvement and support of the center through sponsorships or fundraising activities

attend BMCA events and encourage friends and neighbors to do the same
