Enjoy learning drawing techniques while creating a nature journal of the beautiful and diverse local spring wildflowers found in the Black Mountain area. Drawing and coloring will sharpen your observation skills, and provide opportunities to explore and broaden your knowledge of the beautiful wildflowers in this area. Stephanie’s enthusiasm for learning creates a fun and informative educational experience.
During each class you will create a journal page of a wildflower. Stephanie will guide you through step-by-step drawing and coloring techniques. There will be a handout of photographs of the flower to use as visual references. Each flower will be observed closely to learn more about their parts and unique characteristics.
