Foundational Dance and Tumbling for Independent Explorers | Fall 1
Description
This fun-filled morning dance/tumble class is the perfect way to introduce your child to the joys of movement and music while helping them develop confidence and independence in the classroom setting. This class teaches the foundational skills of dance and tumbling in a fun and age-appropriate way. Throughout the season, your student will improve their coordination, strength, flexibility, imagination, rhythm, gross motor movements, and social skills. Each class will contain a fun warm-up, age-appropriate dance steps, movement/music activities with exciting props, and basic tumbling skills. (Please note, only enrolled students are allowed into the studio; caregivers may observe from the lobby. ) Tuesdays 10:30 - 11:15 AM September 8 - October 13 With Ms. Lacy Ages 3 - 5 $95 for 6 weeks Dress Code: - Fitted athletic wear or a dance leotard and leggings (short dance skirts or tutus are not recommended because of the tumble portion) - Ballet shoes or socks for dance portion, Barefoot for tumble portion. - No jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses, or baggy/loose clothing - Hair must be secured in a ponytail or braid. No jewelry (except small studs) or hanging accessories. - Bring a filled water bottle to every class.

Policies
Registration & Tuition: - Commitment: Registration covers the full 6-week session. - Late Entry: Enrollment is open through Week 2; tuition is not prorated. - Cancellations: If a session is canceled due to low enrollment, we will notify you via email 48 hours prior and issue a full refund. Refund Policy Refund requests must be submitted via email to dance@blackmountainarts.org - 14+ days before start: Full refund (minus $10 fee). - 7–13 days before start: 50% refund (minus $10 fee). - Less than 7 days/After start: No refunds. - Absences: No make-up classes unless the absence is caused by BMCA.
