About the event
Experience the vibrant world of Yiddish music with the acclaimed klezmer trio A Glezele Tey. This immersive workshop and Zingeray (sing-along) invites you to explore the depth of Ashkenazi culture through live accompaniment and communal song. From soulful centuries-old classics to modern melodies, you will discover the surge of creativity defining today’s Yiddish Renaissance.
No prior knowledge of Yiddish or singing experience is required. We provide the songbooks and the musical backing; you bring the spirit. Whether you are a lifelong speaker or a curious beginner, you will leave with the tools to continue singing, translating, and creating traditions of your own.
