Whether you need a solitary, distraction-free environment to perfect a private routine or a spacious floor to rehearse and collaborate with your entire group, our professional studio offers the ideal setting to bring your vision to life.

Policies
Welcome to the Black Mountain Center for the Arts! BMCA is a vibrant, shared community hub. To ensure a safe, productive, and inspiring environment for everyone, all renters must adhere to the following policies. Staff Availability & Expectations: - You will have private use of the studio with a staff member stationed inside, but our team is available in the main office if you need assistance - Please arrive on time or a few minutes early. This gives staff time to assist and check you in, and ensures smooth transitions between scheduled bookings. Shared Space: Because multiple programs, classes, and visits can happen simultaneously, we expect all renters to help maintain a welcoming environment: - Speak softly in common areas and keep music at a reasonable volume that does not disrupt others in the building - Move mindfully through the building to avoid injuring other people or damaging displays and facilities - Keep the studio tidy. Take all personal belongings with you, dispose of your trash, and report any maintenance issues to the staff Scheduling and Closures: - Internal programming and classes take priority. While we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a rental due to scheduling conflicts, we will never do so less than 3 days in advance. - The studio cannot be rented if the building is closed for holidays, staff work days, or inclement weather. If you wish to rent the space outside of our normal business hours, please contact director@blackmountainarts.org. Rentals outside of normal hours will be subject to higher fees to account for staffing. BMCA reserves the right to refuse service, cancel rentals, or ask individuals to leave if they do not adhere to these policies or if they behave in a profane, offensive, or unsafe manner.
